I created LifePlayers with Johan Allard in 2001 to translate a simple method for interpersonal goal achievment to the internet. It's engaging and fun, and has been used by coaches and seminar leaders, to build small businesses and pass Aikido black belts. Health has been a common focus and we've run several fitness challenges.

We'd like now to create a site dedicated to supporting individuals to play their part in addressing climate change. The new site will invite people and companies to blog their progress each time they dedicate one day to do something new to reduce their carbon footprint.

The commercially and state sponsored service will feature TV interviews and reports from people and companies turning over a new leaf in the light of the climate challenge. We'd like to see a tv series grow out of the web service.

In my voluntary work as chairman of the wingo network for sustainable local development, I give a talk.

I give some perspectives from my work in the energy industry and tell about how in our family we decided one year ago to give a day between us (four hours each) a week to taking action on climate change.
